A Builder, Not a Kit

Custom-Built Barndominiums, Start to Finish

Plenty of companies will sell you a barndominium kit and leave the hard part to you. We’re a construction company — our crews build your barndominium from the ground up on your land, and we handle the whole scope:

  • Site prep & dirt work
  • Engineered slab foundation
  • Framing & exterior shell
  • Full interior finish-out
  • Septic, well & utilities
  • Permits & inspections

If you’re set on buying a kit and assembling it yourself, we’re probably not the right fit — and we’ll tell you so honestly. If you want a finished barndominium you can move into, that’s exactly what we build.

How It Works

Our Barndominium Process

Four straightforward steps from first conversation to move-in day — starting with your land.

  1. Consult & Site Evaluation

We walk your land with you first — scoping clearing and dirt work, septic or sewer, well or water tap, electric service, and access before we talk plans.
  2. Design & Budget

We work through your barndominium’s layout, finishes, and a realistic all-in budget — building and site work together, no surprises.
  3. Build

Slab, framing, shell, and full finish-out — handled by our crews and trusted local trades, with updates at every milestone.
  4. Move In

Final walkthrough, punch list, and keys in hand. We stand behind our work after you move in.

Good Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

What does it cost to build a barndominium in East Texas?

There’s no one-size answer — size and finish level drive most of the cost, and your land adds site-specific costs like clearing, dirt work, septic, well, and utility runs. A simple open-plan barndominium and a fully finished custom one are very different budgets. That’s why we start with a free consultation and site evaluation: so your number reflects your build and your land, not a guess.

Do you build from barndominium kits?

No — we’re a custom builder, not a kit assembler. We build your barndominium from the ground up on your land: slab, framing, shell, and full interior finish-out. You end up with a finished home, not a package of parts and a to-do list.

Do you have barndominium floor plans, or do we need our own?

Either works. Bring a plan you love and we’ll build from it, or sit down with us and design the layout together. Nothing is locked in until you’re happy with it.

Can you build a barndominium on our land?

Yes — building on our clients’ own land is a big part of what we do. Acreage, rural property, family land, or an in-town lot: we evaluate the site and handle clearing, dirt work, septic, well or water tap, and electric service ourselves.

How long does a barndominium build take?

It depends on the size of the home and how much site work your property needs. After we walk your land and settle the design, we’ll give you a realistic start-to-finish timeline — the consultation and site visit are free.
